LE MANS CLASSIC
CLUBSPORT

DISCOVER MORE

A car created that celebrated ten years of the Le Mans Classic, a fusion of period and modern 911. An officially-licensed limited edition of just 10 individually numbered cars, boasting many unique features and built with the famous passion of Paul Stephens Autoart.

With a kerb weight as low as 970 kg in Lightweight specification, it offered a greater power-to-weight ratio than the new Mission E concept and sprints from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 170mph. As a further nod to history, it was available in either M471 Lightweight or M472 Touring form.

THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS

While the Le Mans 24-Hours provides the history, the Le Mans Classic tells the story. Created by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and Peter Auto almost 20 years ago, the combined magic of blower Bentleys from the 30s, Ford GT40s and Ferraris from the 60s, Porsche from the 70s and 80s, plus other famous marques all competing in one event, has ensured Le Mans Classic’s position as a red letter day in the historic calendar.

A TRUE LIMITED EDITION

Just ten numbered examples of the hand-finished Paul Stephens Le Mans Classic Clubsport were released, marking the ten outstanding Le Mans Classic events to date; everyone being an inspired celebration of a revered classic.

Conceived in collaboration with event organiser Peter Auto, delivery to the lucky owners would take place at Le Mans Classic in 2020. The handover process will be as special as the model itself, with each owner being invited to parade their car and partake in a famous Le Mans start ritual in front of the historic racing enthusiast crowds.

FINE DETAILING

Hundreds of hours were lavished on the bespoke interior, of the M472 Touring. The ST-style touring seats were trimmed in black leather with unique Le Mans Classic houndstooth inserts in green, black and white. These are mirrored by the fully trimmed and hand stitched leather interior panels, houndstooth door pockets with green boucle floor mats and aluminium footplates. Le Mans Classic green door pulls, seat belts and bespoke dials, with a 24-hour clock complete the detailing; and, as a nod to its touring credentials, each car featured a luggage box mounted in place of the rear seats. As a finishing flourish, both M471 and M472 each of the ten editions came with a specially commissioned Le Mans Classic luggage set and hand painted Le Mans Classic bodywork detailing.
